He had a VERY close encounter with a VERY big cat.
Thankfully other than a couple of new scars he is OK.
And thankfully he has gained a new respect for the 'wild' things out there, which is a good thing because this year, we have had a few close encounters.
In all my years in the bush I have never seen so many predators out and about.
The logging is forcing them to expand their territories.
Well he is hairy where he still has hair, , but he has lost most of his coat on his back and sides, typical CDA.
And yes, the cougar came back and Chuck got in a scrap with her.
And, in 5 days, Cougar Chuck (his new nickname) will be 7 years old!
