Marvel definitely has that wise, loving Doberman look in her eyes. I can get lost in eyes like those.

Of course. This is one of the last pictures we have of her (aside from the one after her Christmas bath where she went and rolled in the red clay, not to proud of that one, LOL).

She was 9 1/2 here and just had her teeth cleaned and gums trimmed up and was really bummy but the picture is still special.

Thank you. I miss her every day but sometimes it just hits and your girls eyes did it to me. Not a bad memory at all, but still makes me sad.

For what it's worth, I think there are good sads and bad sads. While both are technically sad, I hope the reminder was of the good variety. Because at the very least you've inspired me to love my girl a teeny bit extra tonight.

Well every sad with her deserves to be good. She was an awesome girl. Definitely give your girl an extra bit of cuddles tonight and if she is a kisser, just let her kiss a little bit more. If I had the time all over again I would lay on the floor with her for hours and let her just kiss and kiss and kiss. Because of her I never take the time I have with my babies for granted any more. It can be over all too quickly without warning.

Baby pictures are so very special. Seems like they grow so fast and are only "little" for such a short while. Trips down memory lane via puppy pictures can be a lot fun.
