| Doberman in September Issue of Vogue Have you seen this yet?
I was looking through my newest issue of Vogue Magazine. Keira Knightley is on the cover, and one of the pictures has her with a Doberman.
What do you guys think about the ears? I thought it looked a little funny from that camera angle. Oh, I mean the dog's ears, not Ms. Knightley's. Although, hers do look a little pointed from that angle.
Here is the link. http://www.style.com/vogue/feature/0...lideshow8.html. |

| I see what you're saying about the ears, they are a weird length. The dog's head in general looks a little funny. Maybe it's the camera angle, but the forehead slopes oddly into the snout. I like a more angular head profile, but I'm not an expert by far!
Beautiful dog otherwise...well muscled and wow, what a gorgeous coat!! Kiera's coat is pretty nice too - I've always loved Ralph Lauren stuff. |

| Man I didn't know Vogue was looking for dobemodels. Drago could of beat this guy hands down. Those ears are out of fashion in the glamour ring. His feet plus a hunchback topline is not so pretty but they seem to go with her wild shoes. I wouldn't be surprised if she fell down a couple of steps after this picture was taken.

I've seen some gorgeous dobes posted on our own boards . . .
Maybe Tess is right . . . it's all the camera angle. |

| That is so cool! Our grandson Zeus from our "A" litter appeared in Italian Vogue with Mila Jovovich......
His topline looks weird because it was a 2 page photo and scanning was not easy. The Matson's who own his Daddy were kind enough to do it for me and send me this copy.

| Cool ad! The dog looks gorgeous- what a nice coat!
I always love to see dobes in magazines when they're not being portrayed as vicious. I have a dobe pic that i cut out of a cosmo and hung on my fridge...the dobe is sitting at a table with her paws crossed and it says something along the lines of, "girls can be such bitches" or something.
Incredibledobe- that is way awesome, you must be so proud- very beautiful dog!

| I think the ears almost looked rounded at the tips - but my close up vision stinks at the best of times - LOL!
I love seeing Dobermans in the media - as long as it is positive They are such elegant beautiful dogs, It is surprising you don't see them more often!

| I magnified the picture from the link provided to 400 %, and the Doberman'as ears around the tips look airbrushed or kinda cut and pasty? -they DO look rounded, (weird!).
The position of the snout magnified looks "ok", considering the way he is holding
his mouth-lunging forward like that-I think the same is true about his top line, but did anyone else notice that his nubbin looks square?
