This year will be the 2nd annual HALLOWEEN NIGHT WALK & TEMPERAMENT TEST sponsored by our own Redwood Working Doberman Club.
This event is a very fun time for all. If you have ever been to a UDC night walk, you will know what I'm talking about. If not, this is what it is....
You will walk through an "obstacle" course with your dog at night! The course is halloween themed and has things to encounter like mirrors, ghosts, wooden dogs that pop up as you go by, different surfaces, sounds, and people! The dogs age is taken into consideration to make sure that it is fun and beneficial for the dog and not too scary for the babies.
An evaluator goes with you and marks your dogs responses on a score sheet which you are given at the end of the course, along with any recommendations for improving your dobes confidence, social level, etc.
It is all in fun and even if your Dobe is already perfect, I guarantee you and your dobe will have a great time!
We also have a halloween photo booth, doggy halloweeen games, and prizes! Partial proceeds will go to Doberman Rescue and the Sonoma county humane Society.
The event is at the Redwood training field in Santa Rosa on Saturday, October 25th - 6:PM.
The cost is $10.00 per dog - hot chocolate and other refreshments also for sale.
