does your dobe?

i have a year old dobe, and just recently after he got neutered, he has started to roll around on the carpet acting very ridiculous (ex. opening up his mouth, bitting the bed, walling his arms, making noise etc.). he does this when ever he gets the chance and is not being told to stop. he gets lots of exercise, about two and a half hours of vigorous exercise a day. im not sure if its a carpet thing or a neutered thing? Maybe hes just bored? not quite to sure. any other dobes with this habit?

All mine have, and do that, and Dillon isn't neutered, even the girls.. I think it's a dobie thing

too funny Andrew! his mother dive bombs the living room carpet, and will do this at the ball diamond on the grass too. Rex thinks it's a big game and that mom wants to play, I figure it must feel good for her to do it as often as she does.

Mine all do it - I call it going crazy and Spice will now do it on command when I tell her to go crazy. The others do it just cuz' their feeling good!

sometimes it's after they have been outside or eaten and you can bet it makes the house smell nice and fresh rubbing all that "stuff" in the carpet...

lol, my last foster did that. She would nose dive and stay in that position with her head on the ground and butt in the air; it was so funny. Eventually she would get to rolling on the floor.

My last Dobe did that. Would roll around on the carpet and make the scariest noises. He did that his entire life.
