A older couple in Lexington KY are looking for a rescue male around 1.5 years, 2 years, somewhere in that age frame, to keep their female rescue company. I was doing a web search and the first web site on the list was an apartment building with a Doberman breed restriction. I clicked on contact us and left my name, phone number and email and told them if the person who makes this choice would like to meet my two, give me a call and I would bring over. I also said I was going to post on a dog web site as a place to avoid, and that it is the movies that give this breed a bad name. | It would be nice to get them to change their minds. I hate hearing things like this. A man I met local to my area was told when purchasing a house that the HOA did not allow dobermans. WHAT??? And his dog was extremely well behaved, active in agility and very obedient. I wonder if they would be willing to make a stipulation that they could pass the CGC, if over a certain age, say a year. That way they know the owners would be willing to put time into training their dogs to make sure that they would pass the test. Just an idea. | |

| When I hear things like this, I am prone to want to go see an apartment in a complex with this rule carrying a large purse. Hidden in that purse would be a spray bottle filled to the brim with Liquid Fence. I'd be spraying it around the apartment whenever the person allowing me to preview it was out of eye shot.
Revenge can be sooooo sweet.
As can being married to a 4th generation nurseryman who knows all the real nasty, stinky stuff...

Actually, i couldn't find ANYWHERE in lexington that was decent that i could have a doberman...a few even said no GSDs
