| Waitin for the storm w/ Cypress, goin crazy!!
So... We're here in TEXAS waitin for the storm(hurricane Ike) to come through, and im absolutely goin crazy! Its always been said that dogs can sense bad weather, and i really do think Cypress can.. She's terrified of storms so she's gittin extra pampered and she is sooo milkin it! And is hasnt even started rainin or or lightnin or thunderin or anythin!! Lol. She's such a character, she's more like a human than a dog, i swear! Its a lil weird watchin her git nervous about the storm tho cuz my other dog that we've had since i was a kid has never been afraid of weather... Anyway, we're just sittin here bored outta our minds tryin not to lose it! So if anyone is on and has a ridiculous amount of free time like we do, shoot me a msg or reply! We'll be here, doin a whole lotta nothin! Lol. |

 | Where are you in relation to Galveston? Are you expected to have really serious weather where you are? I have been through several hurricanes in my life and I do remember the weird calm before the storm - it is unnerving. Hope you will all be safe and secure. I'm sending prayers to all those who are being affected by this huge storm. It is so sad for so many.

| Im in College Station which is about 95miles north of Galveston... And thats exactly what is happenin right now, the calm before the storm.. Cypress is doin good right now, she's layed up in my bed sleepin!! Haha. The TV shows that the storm will hit Galveston in just a few hrs.. Its so confusin tho cuz different TV channels are sayin different things! Ah! Lol. Im sooo bored! | |

| yup, sure do.. i dont think we'll git it too bad, but everyone is freakin out about it here so who knows, i could be wrong... Im at my parents house and their cat just walked into my room and saw cypress and stared at her for like 10min! Haha. She look like, Holy cow that cant be real! Lol. The cat has never seen another animal over 14lbs.. hahaha. | |

| That's good your not alone. I live in Western Wa and we get some pretty good wind storms here in the winter. A couple of years back my power was knocked out for a week. We get the trees coming down on the power lines which creates quite a mess to get everyone back online.
