Waitin for the storm w/ Cypress, goin crazy!! - Page 2

Goodness! That must be nerve wreckin! I havent ever been in a hurricane or tornado or anythin, so this is definately new to me.. Bout the only thing im familiar with are thunder storms but those are no biggie at all..

I just took Cypress outside to go potty before the wind gits too bad, and she was runnin round and bein silly and then turned around and jumped at her own shadow! hahaha. she's such a wuss! She's my big baby! Lol.

I have a couple of fir trees a little too close for comfort between my house and horse barn, I love them for the shade in the summer but always wish they were gone when a bad wind storm hits. I have a generator so I can manage but it's no fun without power especially in the winter.

I couldnt imagine livin that far north durin the winter.. I've never seen snow.. haha. And the closer the storm gits the more my dad is wishin he had bought a generator. Lol. They had plans on gittin one but evidentally that fell through cuz here we are w/o one. But we still have our power and water and stuff for now..
I really dont mean to be crude, but does your dobe have gas problems? Cypress is sittin right next to me and she just farted like 3times! Lol. I know its not her food cuz her poop is normal and she doesnt show any signs of discomfort.. But she passes gas alot! Oh, she just did it again....

I live in Olympia and we actually have a real moderate climate here. Little snow but LOTS of rain.

Summer's are great here, warm but not usually hot.

wow, sounds nice! summers arent too bad here once you git used to them.. its just mainly the humidity but if you stay busy you dont really notice it. I love TEXAS but it'd be nice to visit up north for a lil while.. Im kinda curious to see cypress's reaction to snow. Lol. a friend of mine lives in north texas close to oklahoma, so im thinkin bout takin her up there this winter..

I dont know how i ever made it w/o Cyress, or wat i'd do w/o her.. she's like my best friend, my right hand man(woman..) She has so much love in her heart its almost unreal.. She is truly amazing. Everyone looks at me like im crazy wen i say, I really dont see her as a dog.. hahaha.

Stay safe and dry and I hope your power doesn't go out. i grew up in Louisiana and I've found out that you always get the generator AFTER the storm you need it for. And then you don't get a bad storm again for years and years. Generators are storm repellers.
