Hook for Tags

Anyone know where I can pick up a hook or easy clip so that I can switch my boy's tags from one collar to the next?

Do you think they sell hooks/clips like this at a pet shop?

Thanks,
Michael

Maybe a hardware store? I know mine has all kinds of key chains, hooks, clips, etc...

They do make little tiny clasps like this specifically for quick changes of dog tags. A friend bought one for me at a dog show, so I can't really tell you where to get one. Being honest, tho, I've never used it. I don't think it looks very sturdy.

The one I have is probably between 1/4 and 1/8 inch long. It's just like the clasp you'd use on a leash in miniature. Maybe in a single dog home it would last, but my dogs are always ripping and tearing at one another's necks/collars, etc..I just don't think it would last long around here.

I think that might be referred to as a trigger snap? But I don't know for sure....I guess just checking at a hardware store will probably be my best bet....maybe I will give my local big chain store a call (Petsmart) and see if they have anything...can't wait to see the response I get from this..LOL

Anyway, I think it would last around my household.....single dog only.....

Thanks,
Michael
