Just got back from the meadows at a Metro Park with Ripley. Sure is pretty this time of season. I's a little saddened to see that mowed one area though, where the grass was a good 4 to 5 feet tall. Oh well. Of course I didn't take my phone out to snap some pics until I's almost done with the walk. But I thought I'd show you some pictures of this treasure.
No Ripley in the first pic. I just wanted to show you all the brown weeds about 20 ft back. They were caked with some of the most beautiful spider webs I ever did see. They went on for a good 100 yards or so. It looked so intentional. The webs weren't all over any of the other weeds there. Just those ones. Not sure why.
Then here's a couple pics of Ripley as we were ending our walk. I know the photos of him aren't anywhere near the best. I's more interested in just capturing some of the beauty along the walk. Sorry Ripley, it's not always about you.
