| IMO I wouldn't overfeed him, I'd feed only what he should have for his age, size and activity level, and maybe a bit more for a couple of weeks. Let him put back the weight he lost over time. From what I've seen here on DT, most dogs are close to finished growing by the time they hit 13 months old, some add a bit more height and most fill out more over the next year or two. That filling out doesn't necessarily mean gaining a ton of weight. How much he will fill out depends on his genes, exercise and feeding a good quality food. I speak from experience....my Petey was the weight he should be now...when he was eleven months old, but because we were not careful....he kept gaining and it wasn't muscle, now at 22 months old we are working really hard to get him down to where *he* should be. Better to let nature take it's course slowly then to take a chance and start a life long problem.

What does the kibble package say to feed? Start there and see how he looks in a week or two, then add a bit more or less.

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.
