Yesterday we took a helicopter trip to the Scilly Isles so the dogs were left with my parents most of the day. When I got back, Charlie was overjoyed. But when the joyous period passed, he started sulking. A night and half the morning have passed, and he's still sulking. He won't sit near me. He moves away if I go near him. He throws accusing looks at me from across the room. Once he even pretended to shake with terror when I went near him.
Anyone else got a self-pitying sulky fool Dobe?
Or is it just him?

Not as bad as to pretend to shake but my Bonnie will sulk. If i take away something she wants like a toy shes broken or a stick she wants. She will get this look like "ahhhhh man". Then will avoid me for a while but after 20 minutes or so shes back to normal.

hahaha! Yep we got a sulky dobe as well! Dont think the sulks have ever lasted that long though her memory is useless and she's soon distracted by something else!

Tucker is in that list -
I dremel his nails - he sulks for an hour
I go away for a night - OMG! After the initial happy dobe I get sulky dobe for a day or so..
I've never had a dog before Tucker that did things like this. They're so weird hehehe

Oh boy, do we ever have a sulking dobe! At 12 weeks old when we got her even. If you scold this dog, she will walk away from you and turn her back to you and ignore you for a good half hour. I have never seen such a good pouter. It cracks me up!
