Fawn Dobes

It is highly likely that my next Dobe will be a little fawn male. He comes by for a meet and greet with Julie, my girl, on Sunday and if all goes well, I'll be adopting him from the Doberman Rescue in my area. I am interested in everyone's thoughts on possible skin problems with fawns and what types of shampoos and/or supplements work best in combating these problems and otherwise keeping their coats healthy.

Congrats !! I have a Rescue fawn male - so far no skin or coat problems, (I've only had him about 10 weeks so far) the vet did recommend ClorhexiDerm shampoo a couple times a month and based on info here I'm going to switch him to Pro Plan Salmon and rice

Congrats! I hope the meet up goes well.

I've had my almost 4 year old fawn male for about 3-4 months now. He has been on California Natural Lamb and Rice and Omega 3/6 fish oil and has a wonderful, shiny coat.
