i read in a late post that docking of the tails may be illegal is this true? has it gone into effect yet? i sure hope not, dont get me wrong i love dobermans and would still get one without being able to dock the tails but i would prefer docking the tail.

it depends on where you live! In places overseas it can be illegal to dock or crop a dog. I have not heard of any place in the US that it is illegal as of yet but I am no expert!
