This is a warning for all of you who have mulch eaters at your house. Be careful as some mulch is made from cocoa bean plants!

Cocoa Shell Mulch If you like the smell of chocolate this is a mulch for you!
Cocoa Shell mulch is the broken up shell from cocoa beans. It has a dark brown color and darkens even more after time from the weather. It’s great for the soil and has been found to kill slugs and deter termites. If you have a dog that loves to eat mulch, cocoa shells are not for you, it could make your dog ill if consumed.

so it smells like chocolate? Ill have to test the smell whenever I see darker mulch. Thanks for the heads up
