This is one of the stories in the IA towns that pushed them to the ban:

This is the ordinance that they have in affect for the pit bulls and dangerous breeds and I believe from what I have read is similar to what they have in Des Moines(I might be wrong):

This is one of the stories locally that they are trying to push for a ban at one of the cities here. The HS is trying to push against it(Yeah for them!!!) and support better ownership, but they have a petition going around to push it from the city folk. (Baaad city folk) This specific dog was also apparently found to be tormented by a lawn mover from the neighbors.
