One female had a small bump, one had a large bump and now Roxy had a medium bump. A vet once told me that is where their musle is to keep their ears up. I don't know if that is true or not but it made sense to me. Any thoughts?
Rexx's (6 mos) is more prominent than Java's (3 yrs), and he def has the larger male skull. I think that bump is where the selective hearing gland is housed.......
It's just a boney prominence we often call "the egg." It's also been known at the "knowledge bump" but I don't think there has been any research proving that claim. Mariah has one and so did my rescue, Rebel. Watch out though if you go head to head with them and they get you with that noggin of their's it really smarts.
