I subscribe to the TrailDog list serve, and there was a series of posts about the Swamp Cooler recently. Apparently, it's great for dry and moderately humid environments, but a couple of people from very humid environments said it didn't do as well. But they were quite literally in the swamp. Evaporative cooling doesn't work so well there. But RuffWear is based in OR, so it makes sense out here on the West Coast. I can't wait to get one for Tucker next summer when he's done growing.
