Well I went shopping for Leo yesterday, his birthday (and his mommies) is next week! YAY! HAPPY ONE YEAR OLD! Time flies. So we are celebrating our birthdays this weekend over the 4th at the lake in my home town, so I thought Leo needed some gear! It took him a little while to get use to it.

He is also getting a new bed, a new collar, and I'm sure a bunch of yummie treats from g-ma!!

You know, we have no idea. We don't have anywhere for him to swim around here. If we were in my hometown I would take him out to the pond and lake more. But we have never had the chance yet. So this is his first camping/boating weekend. We will see how it goes. I doubt he will be on the boat much with us (his uncle Bruce is very protective of his boat!) lol but we will do some swimming on the beach. He loves baths and playing in puddles when it rains. So hopefully he will take to it.

That vest is just too cool and it looks awesome. I wish there was someplace to take Storm to boat or swim. It think that would be an absolute blast!

Yeah he was hilarious trying to get him to move once I put it on. he just looked at me like, "you want me to walk in this thing!?" Once he figured out he COULD in deed move, he was jumping all over the place. I hope this weekend goes well!

Anyone have any advice in introducing the water to him? I read a thread a while back about just going out in the water and waiting for him to follow, that's about what we'll have to do I imagine.
