Two steps Forward, One step back...

Sometimes it gets so frustrating with this girl.
Today we went to the park again today, we met a guy who is a sheppard "breeder" he told me how his dogs go for $2500, anyways, Saph let him pet her and even was giving him nose pecks on the face.
But then we get to park and she is barking at kids, dogs etc...it soo frustrating I had to correct her hard on the prong once. I feel bad doing it but she was no listening at al, she can be soo stubborn and bull headed sometimes and its like she doesnt care at all what i am saying i know it is my fault but geez throw me a frikkkin bone!!!

I can relate Mars grew out of his choker and every since he thinks its a free for all on walks. guess its back to the pet store. so we can go for a nice easy going walk again.

Aww, I totally understand. I know I'm dealing with a 12 week old puppy but this boy is going to be WORK.

Just keep at it, It does pay off. It also takes a long time. Dobes really don't get their brains on straight till 2yrs.

When i rescued Beetle he had alot of issues and there where times when it seemed we could lose 2wks of progress in an instant. He's 2 now and alot better although we still have things to work on. Be consistent and don't let it get to you.

She is just over 2, and i dont want anyone to think i "rescued" her, I didnt rescue her, she was in a great home who did everything they could to socialize her, it is partly her personality.
As I have said I knew getting her she had these issues but man oh man she tests my patience sometimes!!! lol

I bought Mars a Prong today, and my boy is back. Even took little Kali and Mars for a walk together today. And the only problem was the masqittos (sp) Sorry to hear your having some problems. Did you celebrate her second Bday? Maybe she dosent know shes 2 yet.
