Today DH and I were at a friend's house with a group of people. The topic of dogs came up and I told them I had a Dobe. So this lady perks up and begins to tell me about the different kinds of Dobermans. I think she is talking about the colors so I go on and explain. Oh, no she saids, She is talking about the two different head sizes. Now this comment got my DH interested in the coversation. I said, Are you sure your not talking about a rottweiler. Of course not, then she remembers. Now are you ready for this...
She tells me that her neighbor has... a Warlock. Now any one who has and knows Dobes knows the warlock myth urban legend. If you are new to the Dobe world just do a search.
People think this stuff is real and it only proves another point about BYB. Well, anyway, now the lady tells me how the smaller head dobe is good for guard duty because... their brains swell up and this causes them to be aggressive. You know your just have to walk away from people like that. Again, ignorance has raised its ugly head. PS I did not mean to place that face in my story and I don't know how to get rid of it. I apologize.
