This head gear for cropped ears - good?

What do you guys think about it? It seems to hold the ears in place and keeps them breathable. Pros/cons vs traditional wrapping techniques?

I don't have a dobe yet, but from what I have read on cropping, this headgear looks pretty effective. It seems to hold up well through all the rough play, plus I'm sure you don't need to take it off nearly as much because of it being breathable. I'm curious to hear other opinions also.

I use one for Kali and it dosent seem to bother her at all. she does however dig an dig and dig at her regular posts. What i do is alternate between the "halo" and tape posts . this keeps them nice and straight with no pockets and no curl at the end of the ear. if you do decide to use a Halo my best advice is to tighten the tape daily or you will get an unpleasent crease in the ear and the ear will fold over the head. Also dont over tighten the strap under the puppys neck and if you make your own be vary sure its not to small. Ear Halo requires no taping or wrapping of the ears for proper stance. Perfect for all dogs with cropped ears.

I could see major problems with a head gear like that - no way would I feel comfortable letting two dogs play together if one or more of them was wearing that! Just a bigger chance of getting stuck on something and injured - JMHO.

What if there was only 1 puppy: any foreseeable dangers? Thanks.

Seriously? Congrats on your upcoming pup. The breeder seems to be from Europe? I guess he's reputable? Any comment on the headgear? Thanks.

Yup, one of the blacks that you see in the videos. And yes, Hes in Europe. A very great breeder over there Personally I have been around a Doberman with this headgear on and it keeps the ears very breatheable and thy don't seem to mind it. I like the method and look forward on learning it
