| Just beautiful. What a great trip you are having. Will you go to Muir (sp)woods or are dogs not allowed.
It has been many years since we were there and I remember how fresh and clean the air was in the woods.
Continue having a good trip. |

| Great pictures!!
My brother lived in Walnut Creek for years, so we visited the SF area a few times. I spent 1/2 a day at Muir Woods...it was beautiful.
I remember eating at wonderful English Pub B and B near the beach somewhere in that area. They had the best apple/rhubarb crumble I have ever eaten. (I don't really like apple pie but will kill for a bowl of crumble- which they don't really make in the USA!! Our entire visit to Scotland last year I ate crumble every day!) |

| No Dobermans Allowed! I was just informed that the campground where I'm staying does not allow Dobermans. I won't mention where it is until after I'm gone because the management was nice enough to let me stay here tonight, after setting me straight, and I don't want to jinx anything.
(Rotweilers, Pit Bulls, and it seems like something else are also on The Sh*t-List here) |

| Maybe keep Mensa in her nifty goggles to help disguise her!
I never thought that campgrounds would have breed restrictions. It was nice of this current place to give you a "pass" for your stay.
(I hate camping so it won't be a problem for me in the future.)
How soon until you reach your destination? I saw in the news about the fires in Big Sur. That is such a beautiful place. Too bad you could not enjoy a few days there on your trip. |

| Great pics Chaz!! So does Mensa have you all to herself?? The rest of the pack stay home??
LOL, at least the upside to staying at "Rathole-6" is that you are bunking with a certified ratter |

| I am planning to be with my Folks in Coupeville, WA on Thursday.
My mother wants to know what time I'll be there, so she can reserve a spot on the ferry, but I'm not even sure what DAY it'll be. That's the beauty of this road trip.
And yes, it's just me and Mensa this time.
Maybe the Big Sur fires will be out in a couple weeks when I head back down. |

| Looks like you are having a great trip! Nice pictures too, so cool that you do kite photography!!
Yeah, in SF you can never tell what season it is.. I lived there for school (USF) and I hated the weather there!
I grew up (and have since moved back) to Fremont which is like 40 miles south, it being only a 30 minute drive away I didn't think (then) that the weather would be so different.
Fun place to visit though!
And yes, if you can stop in Big Sur, go to Nepenthe! I love that place!
