| Sebastian to the rescue!! literally This morning Sebastian started barking wildly, pacing back and forth and kept poking me with his nose to get out of bed. I had heard a weird crash across the house but figured it was my nephew or something like that. But Sebastian's response was way over the top and beyond any kind of reaction he has to say, a cat outside the window etc.
I got up and went into the living room to find my elderly mother on the floor. She had fallen in the living room and hit her head on the television. Sebastian heard her calling and knew something bad was up. He isn't allowed in the living room because of the brand new carpet, but he instinctively went in there anyway, stood next to my moms head and looked down very intently, attentive and quite obviously concerned. I was so proud of him!
Well mom was taken to the hospital in an ambulance but the cat scans came back okay. She has bruised lungs and ribs but otherwise gonna be fine. We were very worried about a concussion or hip/back damage. Thank God she is okay and thank Sebastian for being on top of things. If he had not figured out that her calls for me were not normal and very desperate, she could have laid there for a long time with no help.
GOOD BOY!!!! |

| First off, I am really sorry your mother fell and hurt herself and I hope she feels better soon.
Second, I'm thinking a nice dinner for Sebastian, steak perhaps, and maybe allowing him in the living room from now on You have one AWESOME Dobe! |
