hahahahaha I love it.

I did once run into a man at my old training facility that had what looked EXACTLY like a fawn doberman. Tall, doberman build, grey-silver colour with perfect tan coloured points and beautiful doberman eyes and a docked tail.

I said ooooOOoohh what a gorgeous fawn boy! ( I had lexx with me) and the man looked at me like I was completely nuts and said:
this isn't a doberman, I was told that he was a weimeraner/chocolate lab cross....

i walked away thinking, man.... you were played.. there is NO way. it was DEFINITELY a doberman

He didn't even know his OWN breed!

Yeah, my dad, unfortunately ...

Last summer my parents held a garden party to raise funds for charity. My partner and I were visiting at the time and my dad asked me to take Charlie out somewhere for the afternoon because some of the fund-raising old biddies might be scared of him. So I shrugged and duly complied (in Cornwall, there are 1000 better places to be than a garden party for old biddies). Anyway, we got back at around 5 expecting the biddies to have all left by then. But in fact most of them were still there, eating dainty little cucumber sandwiches and sipping tea in the garden. And of course they all LOVED Charlie and made a huge fuss of him and stuffed him full of sandwiches.

Silly old dad.
