| Sorry, coming in late on this. I feel your frustration because we are going through the same thing. I know pictures don't show the whole story because its only a moment in time, but watching those ears being out of synch drove me crazy and no matter how much posting is done, it just seems to not be working anymore.
I ended up consulting a few croppers/vets and ended with corrective surgery to strengthen the bell area that seemed to be the weak point. Its been over 2 months since the surgery and with posting still going on, I see a lot of improvements. In between the posting, we work her ears. I get her in environments that causes her to work her ears. Its like re-training the ear. Just this past week, she went 5 days with standing ears before I felt like I need to repost them. Now, I'm using a modified method of posting of the ear. Not using any posts, just 2 strips of zonas tape with skin bond with a breathe right strip in between them over the weak area, which seems to provide just enough support to the ear, but she can move them around very easier. When I did this, her ear is in synch with the other. Its still weaker than the other, but I see it getting stronger, slowly, but stronger. So for us, its like a rehabilitation therapy. Work the ear, then some rest and then work the ear. The vet says its all about re-training the ear to stand now. So its one day at the time here. It is frustrating though.
