Saphire met my mom's new chihuahua puppy today, he is 9 weeks and 10 oz.
So we didnt put him down for fear of the doberman stomp.
She sniffed him a little and then did the play bow and almost did her play bark, it was funny, she was a little bewildered by this little mousey looking thing.
It gives me hope that i meay be able to get a puppy and she be ok with it one day.
I am a few months from getting my dobe...God knows I have been patient... My wife had beat me to it and found the love of her life....Brodie.... Brodie is what you Dobe owners call...a chew toy...
I squeeze the little guy enough...and im sure ill get the sound out of him... regardless... I am soooo nervous about having lil puppy and big puppy... I am home all the time...I think i just have to play referee for the first year or so to keep the dobe off... So... good luck wth yours...show some pics cuz id love to see... wish me luck as well...im finding a hard time not to step on him myself... I love the little guy...but I do not think I can wait much longer...I have wanted a dobe for so long... After checking around... if Ramsey and Pablo can do it.. .why cant we??? GOOD LUCK!!!

We havent decided on a name yet, will either be Fievel or Wilbur, he kind of looks like a pig in this picture lol
awwww ur puppy is a cute lil bugger too!!!..... I know the whole deal on male/male aggression..... but would it be too much of a chance to take with the lil guy and the new dobe being a boy growing up together??? I think if they are together as pups... he will learn to accept him as part of the family...no???
I love Brodi's coloring - it reminds me of my lilac guinea pigs!
