Finally, after 6 months of having my girl, I have a fence!
They finished the installation today and she got to run free the first time when I came home for lunch. She had a blast and I had a great time watching her enjoy herself.
I just let her outside for the last time before bed. I have a concrete patio and I have a grill that sits on one corner.
I turned on the outside light so she could see and I sat in one of the chairs to watch.
She started to growl and flit back and forth and at first I didn't see what had her spooked.
It was her jolly ball! It just happened to be in the grass in front of the grill and with the outside light on, the ball was in the shadow of the grill.
She's not much of a barker, she kind of just oofs and growls. After a minute or two, she finally plucked up her courage to go and see the "scary" jolly ball.
When she realized what it was, she just bounced her front feet and picked it up. She then took it to a spot of the yard that was all lit and not shadowed. She then proceeded to get her big rubber ball and her two tennis balls and bring them all to the same spot.
I guess she wanted to make sure that those toys didn't turn into scary monsters either! Lol.
I just love my animals. They are so entertaining. Something so simple gave me a good laugh before bed. Just thought I would share.
