Striker has been waking us up at 4:30-5:30 every morning wanting to go outside. We take him out around 11 before bed so it was almost like having a newborn again...lol

This past week, I've been waking up with the alarm at 6:30, actually slept in until 7:30 on Saturday, and he's been such a patient boy. As soon as we open his kennel, he's all wiggly until we get his leash on, and then he bolts for the door. :lol2:

He's growing up on us way too fast, but not having to wake up before the sun every morning to take him out is definitely a nice change! :)

Hades used to wake me up at 530-630 every morning when I first got him. Fortunately he's progressed until waiting until 7:30 and on the weekends, after he goes out at 7:30, he'll even go back to bed until 9!!!!

It's so nice when they start to appreciate sleeping in, even if only a little bit!!!!!!

I bet that feels great! I can't wait until we get to that point. So far we set our alarms for around 3-4 am and take him out whether we hear him or not. I have to get up at 6:45 this week so I am not sure how late he is going to let us sleep. I am hoping for 8 am but I bet it's not going to happen. :p

Our schedule is really odd. Husband has to be at work at 5:00 a.m., me at 7:00 a.m. and we both commute over 50 miles one way. Therefore, we go to bed (we try) by 8:30 p.m., so we end up taking the pup out at 8:30 p.m. and she wakes us up at 2:00 a.m. We don't have to wake up until 2:50 to 3:30 a.m. When it is that early every second counts in getting sleep. We can't wait until she sleeps until 3:30 a.m.!!!:D

Ugh...jealous! Mine is 21 weeks and started screaming at 4am today. I usually take her out at 10:30-11 and then she wakes up by 6am at the latest.

Oh man, the 3:30 am wake ups to go potty, then half the time not even going potty, DRIVE ME CRAZY!

I wake up and let ******* out around 3am-3:30 am, then again around 7ish. Then, miss thang likes to bum around, play with some toys, yawn, stretch, yawn yawn, stretch, play a little, but going to the park before noon? NO! oh NO! I can't do that! That's much too early for her. SHE prefers to go in the afternoon. :rolleyesww:

Ruger is six months its funny every Monday morning daddy has to put him out when he gets up at 5am then he was waking me up at 8:30 but tues thru Sunday he was getting up at 8:30. This started when he turned five months now he will still do the early out on Monday but wakes me up at 7am the rest of the week. I think dad told him mom needs to get up!

We are in the bedroom at 8:30 but I put him out around eleven. Now I have a sick dachshund so she is getting me up all night anyway. Been a bad two days diahria and today vomiting I am trying to get myself ready at least she has had a great long life.

I am proud to say Ruger stops playing with his toys at 9:30 walks over to his bed and goes to bed he doesn't leave the bed until potty time. So far no potty in the house and I can even leave bedroom door open. It's odd when he goes to bed he goes to bed like an old man leave me alone I am in bed!
