It was finally warm enough to bring out the kiddie pool yesterday. Richter was disappointed in the size, I think :)

This pool is not good for much...maybe if I dig?

I guess I can bite at the water...

I think we both can fit in here.

Well, maybe we need to turn a bit...

This isn't working!

Maybe this way?

Forget it! This is my pool!

Mine!

Fine...play instead?

Yes!

Got ya!

Wait...this is all wrong.

I'm winning!

Shall we dance?

I told you that was my pool!

Ha, ha...I got the pool!

I'll show you!

Yes...all mine.

This is the life...sun shining on me, relaxing in my pool.

I'll have fun over here by myself, then!

Bye, DT...happy spring!

It was a hoot to watch them :) We ended up going out and buying a second pool so they can each have one this summer. You should try one for Elka! Shanoa ignored hers for the first year, used it as a huge water bowl for the second, and then realized it's fun to lie down in. She will only tolerate about an inch of water, though, or she'll just stand in it. Richter, on the other hand, wanted MORE WATER! :)

I got mine at Menard's for $12. It took Shanoa literally a couple of years to enjoy the pool, but she likes it now.

I tried that exact same pool with my two--they treated it like it was a puddle of poison.

Yours does look like it is a mud bath by the end of your photos, however--did they need a bath after they had finished playing in their bath?
Well...let's just say I keep a couple of towels on the porch :D

My dobes never went much for the kiddie pool thing, but Carson grew up on them. It takes him about 5 minutes now to absolutely destroy them into a crumpled mess!

So now all he gets is a hose hanging off the top deck which streams onto the stone patio, creates a nice little stream into the rocks and out into the alleyway.

Since it is only hot here two days a year...:rolleyesww:, we don't waste too much water doing that, thankfully. :D

I know I have a huge pool in my backyard but I totally want to get a kiddie pool for the dogs!

Ha ha these are awesome...I LOL'ed at the "wait...this is all wrong" pic. I guess I'll have to see what Monroe thinks of the water this summer. Rowan was a fan of his kiddie pool on hot days!
