Well, I can tell it's muddy and spring is in the air.....
Muddy Girl!
How can such a pretty girl get so muddy?
Her "art" project.
Any other diggers out there? I wish she would not dig in the mud. My property is wooded....so there is always a hole to be explored. She is now locked out for a few minutes.
Richter is a wanna-be digger. He's on super strict supervision every time he goes out right now, because I have only a suburban yard and don't want it full of holes.
Trooper has recently discovered the joys of digging out rabbit holes. He hasn't got as muddy as Chloe yet..... I'm sure it's only a matter of time though. :rolleyesww:
My male does this too! He will bite at the dirt as she digs at the ground and flings the dirt behind her. I guess they are waiting for the other dog to fling out a rodent? I have always wanted to get this on video!
She's just giving herself a facial! *******'s a digger. She has one spot that she likes to dig the most. She's created a pit where she puts all her outside toys in it. My backyard also has woods, so it's difficult keeping her out of trouble lol!
I was going to turn it into a positive ... I have a lot of plants to plant this spring/summer. Maybe I can train her to dig on command so I can put the plants in lol!
mine both like to dig, and try to blame it on the other. I havent had any real muddy experiences except for the legs but those were bad enough.
They dont have anyplace left to dig except a small spot by the garage door and I have a feeling if they dont stop they will have a new entrance to the garage.
i like my dogs doing what they love to do, as long as it is safe.
when Chuck came here i could tell he was not allowed to dig, if he happened to scruff the ground when i was around he would stop and look at me sheepishly.....so, i encouraged him to dig, now he digs just fine.
instead of paving your yard as someone suggested, heehee, make a bunch of cool fenced areas.a digging area, a pooping area, a laying down and relaxing spot, a race course around the fenced areas, etc.
