Trying to keep my girl's mind stimulated, but keep her calm as she just got spayed last week, has been difficult. I'm taking her for longer walks now, but still don't want her to overdo it, since she has that knot.
I had an empty plastic peanut butter jar I gave her and she has been having a ball. Rolling it around, flipping it in the air trying to get that last little bit out.
Here she is! Please note, she has been under my watchful eye from the get go and in fact, I just had to take it from her so she doesn't eat any plastic.
It's always the simply toys! I go out and buy ******* Kongs and stuffed animals, but she wants the plastic bag. She then runs around swinging the plastic bag around and then ripping it open. Really? lol
That is like my boy Titan! Absolutely LOVES water bottles! But we have to keep the lid on so he can pop it off...once he has done this he looks at us like can I have another? :lol2:
I've seen your thread with the boxes! Jazzy now gets a box at least once a week. She prefers the ones she can stick her head into. Thanks for the idea!
Jazzy likes the water bottles too, but she destroys them so quickly! I have to really watch her. I saw a website that has an animal cover just for water bottles and I can't remember where I saw it. I thought this would help the water bottle last longer and be safer.
Thats cute - Jazzy was making so much fun, out of discarded junk...often the best toys.
- I like to practice my pups on toys I don't want destroyed, like Kelly isn't allowed to defelt a tennis ball or pull a stuffy apart, improvements learned.
- quickly, achieves more respect for the other toys
I would trying smearing new peanut butter on the empty container, supervise & coach and be prepared to give the toy a time out (lol).
- Kelly's cheapest fun toy(s) is old socks and moms good nylon shoe stockings...well 1/2 way there
- cute watching her hold them like "look what I found, for you guys" and she is all happy/excited to return them (for much praise)
