After all of the rain and storms, the park was a little flooded. This was the first time since I adopted ******* last October, that its been warm enough for her to "test the water." Eeek! :D Well, I think I'm going to have a swimmer (I reaalllyyy hope so! I LOVE the water) ... what do you think?

Weeeee....I see big puddles!!! (it's flooded all behind me)

Bye mommy...

She's not drinking the water. She was doing these, almost like body rolls, with her head. She would dip her head in the puddle and then roll it up and get the water all over her head, neck, and body. She's like a friggin elephant...

Doing the boy roll again...

*******, GET OUT OF THAT NASTY ICKY WATER! (Yes I started naming parasites and diseases out loud she could get) typical teenager...

Oh don't pout...

Oh, you're feelings aren't hurt..ppaallleasseee...

*******, there's a Goose back on dry land...LOOK!

Well that did it.

Do you like the water?

Nooo! Don't out your Wubba in that ick water! Le sigh...

Some more pics at the park:

Oh my gosh, that Goose did NOT even just step back onto MY field!

Get back in there!

Don't make me come in there...

Mom! Crisis averted! Throw my Wubba! Wubba time!!!!

Yeahhhh!!!

Oh hell nooo...Do I see a Goose back on MY field?

I do! PAUSE! Goose patrol...

Get back in there.....

Fields mine again!

Looks like she had a great day at the pond! You can always tell the level of silliness in a natural ear pup by how much time they spend being inside-out, she clearly had a lot of that going on.

I've actually seen a number of mares who "play" with their water, dunking their noses and throwing it all over.

That's exactly what she was doing! She was playing with it and dunking her head down and throwing it everywhere and all over her (and me...grrr). :)

haha yes, you can definitely tell a happy natural eared dobe when their ears are flapping all over the place!

Absolutely loved the pictures! Especially loved the Wubba in the water picture. Ewww. The second batch of pictures, the first one is my favorite. Nothing is so sweet as a happy faced tongue hanging out their mouth Doberman.

Such a beautiful girl! Your commentary was hilarious! I think you captured exactly what she would have said if she could talk! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I really like the first one in the second batch too :)

Looks like she has great swimming potential. I'm not sure, but I think she may have been trying to commit suicide by drowning a couple of times there. Just kidding...you've made her much too happy for that.

She looks great, her coat's so shiny and she looks so healthy.:) Momma's taking good care of her baby.:)
Yes, it does look like she's shoving her nose and mouth in the water lol. It was her "elephant maneuver" to throw the nasty water all over her and ME (grrr).

Thank you! She gets a lot of compliments on her coat. I do my best, especially considering I don't know her background and parents, but honestly, she's always had a really pretty coat. The black part of her coat is so jet black. I think she makes a good model to promote for rescues :)

Awww I love me some ******* pics! She needs to teach Hades how to get in the water. I swear when we were visiting my mom and walking near the creek in the backyard he'd stand on one side and whine until I led him across

Hades said she can come visit and swim in the pool anytime she wants!

Yes! Omg yes she did blow bubbles! She also jumped in them like a little kid. Then when I would tell her to knock it off (because the water was going all over me), she would look at me, and do it again!
