(** HA! where did the "A" go in my title... oh well **)
Yes, now Rou has now accompanied me to a lacrosse game. My youngest sister is dabbling in lacrosse and wanted to go watch the girls on the team who were in the older age bracket play so she knew what to expect for her next game.
And who better to accompany me in public than Rouleaux? :roflmao:
Set up our little picnic blanket and my sister met up with some friends, and a few younger girls (4-5). Although the 9 year olds were in their own obnoxious world, ignoring half of the game and being distracting at best, the 4-5 year-olds were busy racing from the sideline and literally jumping onto the blanket where Rou, myself and my SO were sitting.
He just lay there. He would turn his head slowly to make sure where they landed they were alright (seemingly of course), and lean in and give them his trademark "boy" smooches, then turn over and let them rub his belly- we just had to make sure he didn't kick the little ones with his giant feet. He was very good. They were "petting" him ( on the hard side, more like gentle smacks on the belly and back), jumping near/on him, rolling onto him in their own fits of play and Rou paid them no mind... just laid there.
He did pretty well with his sensory overload yesterday.
So proud!
