| | Alpha | Poor Calamity Poor Calamity has been doing such a great job sitting vigil for me the last week that she is now ill.
We gave her a raw knuckle bone yesterday which she chewed on as normal, no big pieces missing.
At 2:30 this morning she started with the diarrhea now x at least 30 to where all that is left is mucus. No blood. Then at about 2:30 this afternoon she has thrown up about 5 times of yellow bile.
At the vet now getting fluids and meds. Sent from Petguide.com Free App |

She slept thru the night, ate a little this morning, pounced on Huckleberry as usual, and is now back asleep. She hasn't gone out yet, but she hasn't vomited and has passed some gas. Ohhh and her camel back is about all gone!

| | Alpha | Poor Calamity Lammys is still a sleepy butt. No poop yet but no more vomiting and still on the low residue. Mixed a little bit of regular food in this AM.
It's obvious she still isn't feeling great, poor Huckle is taking the brunt of it. So I think he will get to visit the frozen lake today once it warms a little. Sent from Petguide.com App |

| Poor Calamity I don't know if this is really recommended but I once read giving your dog a slice of white bread (no crust) can help push the obstruction through.
If she's just sick or clogged up canned pumpkin has always worked for me in the past and I always give a little boiled chicken with brown rice.
I'd definitely ask your vet first before doing any of these. I'm not a vet, that dream faded when Snoop ripped out his stitches when he was a pup and I cried and cried...the vet tried to calm me by saying "he's going to be ok." Weeping I replied "oh no I know but he was trying to touch me with his open wound" :-| Sent from Petguide.com Free App
