| Not a dobe but any ideas? Dane standing funny. I went across the street to care for Daphne and Bailey (my doggy neice and nephew) and noticed that Daphne, almost 2 year old, approx 130 lb dane, was standing curling her front feet under, but only on the grass, not on a hard surface that I noticed. I've never seen her do this but she did this every time she stood on the grass. Anybody ever hear of anything like this? She was walking fine, jumping up fine, running, playing, nothing out of the ordinary (except a few more kisses then usual, she missed me), but her stance was a little concerning. With a look at her feet they seemed to be okay but in need of a manicure. |

| She needs to be checked out, her feet curling under could be a sign of nuerological problems.

| That was my concern. I've never had a dane and she is the only one I really know well and I didn't know if this was something they do.
I hope she's okay. I'm going to talk to her daddy tonight. |

| Seems strange that she only does it on the grass and not on hard surfaces. But a Vet check would be in order to rule out any CVI problems. There are a few in clinic test they can do, before any desicions are made to xray or do an MRI. |

| get her checked ASAP. i agree it could be CVI, but also they can get other neuro issues. i would check her out by a vet.spinal injury, and tendon injury can also result that way.
is there a chance of toxin ingestion? some can act neurologic also.
