he ate a paper plate

I think daxx got ahold of a paper plate. I made some goat cheese and crackers and left it in the living room, Then I had to leave the house and totally forgot about it. When i came home There was about 1/2 of a plate left (in pieces) on the floor. Do i really need to worry? It was one of those really thin non wax coated plates

I wouldn't worry, the paper should pass. He could have some stomach upset or some constipation although since he ate so little I'm sure he will be just fine.

Lukas usually shreds paper versus eating it, but has gotten to some used paper towels in the kitchen garbage.

If he starts displaying any abnormal behavior, diarrhea, pain, vomiting, or swelling take him to the Vet. But all should be fine... Ah, the joys of dog ownership. hehe

so he ate goat cheese and crackers AND half the paper plate... compliments to the chef and paper maker.. he should be ok.

I'm sure he was just trying to get the essence of goat cheese from the paper plate...this too shall pass....

yeah i'm not too worried. i kind of want that cheese back though, it's like $12 a pound and very very yummy! Good thing he only at a little bit and not the whole wedge

Paper plates, toilet paper, paper towels, magazines, library books.....stuff that better be put away or my dobes will eat it. I think this breed has a paper obsession!!

Sounds like Hess. I find the oddest things in his poop when I am picking it up from the backyard. Considering that Hess has survived through all of his "dining sessions," I'm sure your boy will be fine.
