Exclamation I try to pee but I cant!!!!

Well a couple months ago Drake was peeing and peeing, and leaking pee, and trying to pee but nothing came out just a little blood at the very end. The vet said it was crystals and he got some pills and got better. Well, now its starting again. This morning his crate smelled like pee and it looked like he just leaked a little bit and he NEVER pees on purpose in his crate! And then when we were outside he kept getting in his pee pee position and nothing came out!!! HELP!!! What can I do?

I would take him back asap so they can determine if the dog is blocked and may require surgery.

My last male, Jason had a similar problem. He was treated for bladder infection, prostate infection. When he was 2 I had him neutered and he never had the problem again. Has Drake been neutered?

Take him to the vet. What kind of crystals. Could be stones- did they xray? Maybe a change in his diet could help if it is only crystals.

Hopefully, you have heeded the advice others gave. Urinary obstruction is an emergency.
He needs an xray that includes the entire length of the urethra and bladder to rule out urinary stones.
Good luck w/ your boy.

Perhaps there is some damage from the surgery it self - or from the zipper. When it comes to irregular bodily functions you just don't mess around. "A stitch in time saves nine" and all that.

I spoke with the vet and he told me to watch him since he seems to be doing ok.
