MALE incontinence?

I don't know what is going on with poor Wonderbread. He was at my parents' house with me today and kept having little incidents of "dribbling." Once on the kitchen floor and once while rolling around on his back on the couch. We have a vet appointment on sunday, but WHAT is going on!? Could it be a UTI? He does have some greenish goo coming from his penis, but he's always had that and our vet knew about it. Neither activity was marking, and after both he looked around confused and rocketed for the door. Poor munchkin. Is there such a thing as male incontinence?

I don't have any suggestions, but hope Wonder is okay and you get this situation figured out soon.

Yes, although not common. It may simply be that he was excited - not uncommon to see small amounts of urine when dogs (especially young ones) get excited. This can also be seen w/ submission or fear. Is he neutered? If not the other thing would be prostatic fluid if he had an erection.
Other ruleouts for urine would be UTI (although not common in otherwise healthy male dogs), trauma/irritation to the tip of the penis/urethra, urinary stones, etc.
It is normal for intact male dogs to have a small amount of yellowish penile/sheath discharge. If it is more than a little or is bothering him, he could have inflammation/infection of the sheath.
Good luck w/ your boy!

That's the thing, it's not inflamed and each time the fluid was clear and smelled NOTHING like urine. He got neutered recently but he's been "leaking" for a while. I figured he was just a leaky puppy and that he would grow out of it. He does it in his sleep sometimes, but never when's he's all wound up. He had free access to outside all day today. The two episodes had no fear or submission associated with them, it was like he had no clue what was going on. He had tried to mark a few minutes before and it was fairly concentrated, that's why I was confused. Poor boy never gets a break lately...

Is it possible for a dog to have night emissions or fluid built up from his neuter that needed to be released?
