| Bruno had his surgery yesterday Bruno had a mass on his side, just above his ribs. It started out like a pea and over the course of a month or so got almost to the size of a ping pong ball, perfectly round. The vet did a needle aspiration and it was mast cell cancer, so he had it removed yesterday.
He was SO happy to see me when I picked him up from the vet! You should have seen him, it was great.
He doesn't need a cone so far... he's not licking at it. We have a cone just in case, and it's HUGE lol. I laughed so hard when I saw it.
The vet did bloodwork and I had him do a T4 too, just in case. Everything came back great, which made me really happy. Now Brunski is taking prednisone and cephalexin. I break open the capusles and put the powder into a spoonful of tuna fish to get him to take it. (Pred is small and easy to hide in a hot dog.... ceph is big and he takes two, twice a day - hard to get them down his big lug.)
He is very sad that he can't play with Buggles. I am keeping them separate till he's healed up because these two wrestle for hours a day. They lay side by side, with the baby gate separating them, and roo at each other. It's so cute.

| Well, naughty Brunski chewed out his stitches so we are off to the emergency vet to have him stitched up. Poor boy.
Thank you for the well wishes! Bruno says "Thank you, but sutures are delicious."
