| Pfizer Drug "Cerenia" for Motion Sickness Has anyone had any experience with this drug?? Have a 8 month old traveling to shows and she has had car sickness issues in past. Vet prescribed "Cerenia" and I'm looking feedback from anyone who might have used it.
Thanks |

| | Alpha | I don't know anything about it, but I'd sure suggest trying it around town locally before you give it to a dog and head off for a show.

| Follow Up Just wanted to let folks know how well the drug worked. Seven hour car ride from VA to SC on Thursday. No vomiting at all. Some lethargy and drooling, but that seemed to disappear after about 30 minutes of moving around. Puppy was fine at show on Friday and showed well the whole weekend. |

| LIttle Layla has had motion sickness from the day I took her home.
I'v tried so many different drugs mosty holistic and nothing has worked.
Whenever I go to a show I would need to get their 2 hrs before to make sure she feels OK.
I am going to ask my vet for this drug.
Thanks for the information.

| | Alpha | What a timely thread.
This evening Nina hurled in the car all over my daughter before class.
I was covered in it also trying to clean it up w/kleenex & my hands :::shudder:::
A lady in class said her vet told her to give one of her dogs dramamine? |

They sure are expensive.
$120.00 for 40 pills which includes shipping.
Is that the going price for the pills??
Actually, if it works, its worth every penny.
I will be testing the pills out on Sunday with a 2.5 hour drive.

| Don't feel bad. I paid $10.00+ per pil from my vet for 12 pills. I would appreciate any online info about where I can purchase the meds cheaper. |
