| The first thing she should be doing if in doubt about her dogs health is to call her vet, not post on an internet forum to have us diagnose him. |

| I second the Vet, ASAP.... and neutering when old enough. Looks like some type of contact allergy/irritation, but I would get him to the Vet.

| Looks like staph infection to me, but as others said, vet visit in order.

| I dont see the harm in asking, as you can see in my post he is seeing the vet tomorrow, as for neutering I think the conformation judges would frown upon missing testicles.

| Yikes hope your friend gets some answers on Monday. Was the food change recent? Maybe he's reacting to something in it?

| Nietzsche used to get ingrown hairs on his scrotum pretty frequently before I had him neutered. It would form a pustule looking bump (very similar to staph), but if it was popped, there was always a tiny hair hiding inside that had been irritating the skin.
Once I had him neutered and his scrotum essentially vanished, he didn't seem to have the problem any longer. His bumps didn't look quite as severe as those photos. Granted, his skin was prone to all sorts of problems prior to starting his thyroid meds, and this likely isn't the same as your dog's issue.
I hope the vet has a solution!
