If it makes you feel any better at all about karma, I had a fawn rescue girl who (minus the human aggression) was all of that, and more, like Calamity.
I vividly remember her hitting her nose on a friend's sunroof one day, on the way to agility class, and making her nose hemmorhage profusely, because she was trying to catch the commercial jet flying over the vehicle. Between the blood, the screeching, and the insanely loud barking...can't understand why this classmate never really wanted to carpool again
I got a million stories like that, but I agree that dogs can certainly suffer some of the same demons that humans on the spectrum deal with.
Perhaps these two Dobermans that you have now will teach you lessons you can use to help more rescue dogs in future, you never know.

She shares many of the little "quirks" that my kids have, and we find it endearing in her. Anyway long story short, I know how awesome people with autism can be (my kids show me every day), and your girl sounds pretty special herself. | Whew, I'm glad I didn't offend you, my partner has a nephew that also is autistic. Besides, you heard the OP...you can't post on his super-special-smart thread unless you're super-special-smart enough | Where do I start a thread to post pictures, BTW? Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |
