As to everyone else who responded to me because of their love of the breed and wanting to help me thank you. My apollo is here in my lap thanking you as well.
here is a picture of the new and approved Apollo Thanks! photo by Bigbluedoberman | Photobucket | What are you treating the coccidiosis with? If it's Albon, make sure your vet prescribed at least a 21 day course--otherwise you're wasting medicine and money and your pup will likely still be infested.
As to the part I bolded--I did give you advice, sound advice. And, you're confusing me with other posters who were worried about possible obstruction (a valid concern, but not one I put forth).
I was concerned immediately with parvo, because it can go downhill to deadly so very quickly, and you were goofing around, asking for free vet advice on an internet forum, and FFS taking a sick puppy to a public place which many pets frequent-thereby exposing all of THOSE animals to your sick animal. Good lord, you even had Dr. Google convincing you a 15 week old had ADDISON'S. <eyeroll>
You're certainly entitled to your opinion that I owe you an apology, but it ain't happening, sistah.
In fact, I believe YOU owe every single person at that petsmart you took Apollo to, a big fat apology. You need to call the store, matter of fact, and let them know there is possible coccidia contamination and they need to do an extra cleaning, with a quaternary disinfectant.

Wow! Remind me never to take a dog into PetSmart again. Not that I ever do but now I for sure won't. Anyone who would take a sick dog there. Geeze. |
