| Diarrhea and Jazz So this is day 4 for her having it. She pooped in her crate last night wich is NOT like her and it was Diarrhea. Then she did it again today in her crate.
She is allergic to chicken, it causes her to have Diarrhea. However only me and my parents have been around her lately and they know better. She MAY have gotten a cookie with a slight amount of chicken in it today, but that doesnt acount for the start of it. She is acting normal and such.
I am calling the vet tomorrow morning and I will get her in.
Any ideas?
Pepto doesnt help. Tried it and neither does resting her stomach |

| It doesnt seem like the chicken allergy would last 4 days if she ingested only a small amount. If the problem persists or gets worse I think a vet visit should be your next step. Has she been around other dogs lately? Unfortunately there have been some pretty nasty viruses going around. Also be sure she stays well hydrated sine she is losing alot of liquids.

| It's probably from the show circuit. Maybe picked up something, too much bait, a bit of extra stress, etc. |

| Sounds like it may some kind of bug. I would take her to the vet and get a fecal done. In the mean time you could try feeding her some boiled hamburger and rice, and a some canned pumpkin (the real pumkin, not pie filling). Or you can try getting her some FortiFlora from the vet, I use it once in a while for digestive upsets such as this and it seems to work well.

My vet says if they have something in there that needs to come out, you should let it. You want to keep the system moving but you want to slow it down, which is why Pepto Bismol would normally be advised (I know Jenn said it wasn't working for her.)
Anyway, I used to give Imodium to my dogs despite my vet's objection, and one day one of my girls had a minor bloat episode a couple of hours after I gave it to her. Fortunately, I was here and caught it very early. I can't say for sure that caused it or had anything at all to do with it but I got extremely choosy about using Imodium after that. If I do decide to use it, I only give 1/2 tablet if I feel I must. |

| My 2 dogs had the runs within days of each other a few weeks ago. It was probably a bug.
I use a little extra probiotic when they have stomach issues.
