Ligament injuries are injuries to the connective tissue, I suspect that stem cells will be used first to correct living tissue. I am also highly skeptical that stemcells have been proven effective for anything clinical, I realize that veterinary medicine can move more quickly because of the relatively lax safety standards but if it were being used successfully on animals I would think they wouldn't be saying that clinical trials are still 4-5 years off in people.

There are frauds and charlatans today and for the last few years who have been offering stemcell cures for high dollar amounts, for humans, but as foreshadowed they do not perform.
