Elza will have a surgery

Tomorrow around this time Elza will amputate a finger, from the second knuckle. Her right back leg's.
Formation of granuloma gets bigger and swollen in the last two months. Except for this, she has great appetite and loves walking, often jumping with her three legs though.

I visited two vets and they said that would be treatable. Ah, I wanted to tell them a liar.
That's shocking to me but I know amputation will be better than the current condition eventually.

I feel bad Elza doesn't know what will happen tomorrow....

Please keep your fingers/paws crossed for Elza!!

Prayers tonight from Canada (sent from Kelly & Larry), for the sweet Elza princess.
- Amy went through a couple long surgery's, in senior years
- 3-4 times brought back to life, in septic shock

What we quickly learned & Elza is no different:
- they live in the moment most / very resilient to a very swift recovery
- Amy loved post surgery / when we took her home early, once IV fluids removed
- in 24 hours, we had our big baby back
- our nice neighbor, couldn't believe how sharp she was, next day
- she LOVED the spoils after being very sick / fast recovery, was a real eye opener
Best of wishes !!

Thank you everyone!!! Elza's surgenry went just fine.
About a week or so in advance, I had her use to wear a doggy boot. I was RIGHT!!
After the surgery I was told by the vet not to wet her bandage.
On the day three, she started walking as she used to be.
A week passed by today. It's a bit strange she started feeling ouch or itchy. Maybe yesterday's vet was a different man or different way of bandage. But she's still active!!
