Deformed nipples?

My last female had a couple of deformed nipples (almost looked like double thickness of the others) when she was older. I was just rubbing my girls belly & noticed one of hers looks like it's going to "double" the same way. She hasn't yet had her first heat. Anyone else ever notice this on your female? What was it? I hope it's not another health concern!!

Once my camera is charged I will try to get a photo.

My male has 2 extra and he LOVES to chew on the lower ones. Needless to say, they are huge, ugly, tough and just gross. I hate them but he loves them so whatever. They are what they are.

hahaha!
this is great ...

i was soo worried about Logan's over the summer (one nipple specifically!) because it looked gross from him gnawing on it every so often - but at a year old, it still looks the same!

thanks for letting me know my dobie isn't the only one that's perfect every where else - except for those ugly nip's!

Some are larger than others, it's not a concern, particularly in a spayed bitch, you are having her spayed, right?!!!???

In goats those are called fish teats, if it is what I am thinking it is, it was not a health problem, but some do not milk out of them the best, although we never had a problem with one! We actually have a rescue Cavalier Spaniel with one also!

Glad to hear it's not just my girl. I don't care what they look like, I was just concerened they may a bad sign. I'll mention it to the vet next time we're in. My girls top 2 nipples are also inverted.

Yes, I plan to have her spayed. Right now she has to get over the kidney failure & then I want to results from the Feb. Vet-Gen clinic back, first.
