There is also a web site out there that rates foods. Funny that they rate Diamond's own label lower than Kirkland's. Examples:
Diamond Maintenance / Score 64 F
Diamond Lamb Meal & Rice / Score 92 B
Kirkland Signature Chicken, Rice, and Vegetables / Score 110 A+
Kirkland Signature Puppy Chicken, Rice and Vegetable / Score 108 A+

| Kirkland is a decent food and if I were in a pinch and couldn't afford my normal food it's what I'd buy, at least for Angel (Frank's allergic to rice).

| I think Whole Dog Journal rated it as a top food about 2 years ago. I'd feed it if Wonder didn't have issues with grain. Lovely food.
I would feed the chicken and not the lamb though, I've heard lamb can inhibit the uptake of taurine. Not good. I'll see if I can find the article somewhere, it's floating around DT |
