| All my Dobes have had them except my first one and that is only because he died of cardio at age 5 1/2. My second male had a few and I had 2 removed because of where they were. My third, Dax, was a female and started getting them at an early age, like maybe 5. She had several removed over the years because they were at a strange place. I just kept an eye on all them. She did have a lump on her back end come up very quickly, like almost overnight, and that ended up being cancer. Was removed and she lived another 3 1/2 years. But, she was one "walking fatty tumor". They would jiggle up and down when the poor thing would run. Just keep track of them and have them checked out periodically by your vet. Lois |
